About Us
This institution was established in 2009 (2066 B.S.) under the umbrella of a non-governmental
organization called "Environment and Socio-Economic Upliftment-Nepal (SESUN)" by a group of low-income
individuals, along with their relatives and acquaintances. The primary objective of this institution is
to uplift the living standards of its members by pooling together scattered small capitals and implementing
savings and loan programs at a modest scale.
The institution has been operating with high ethical standards and integrity while remaining
within the regulatory framework set by the government. Over the years, it has provided financial
support and stability to its members, helping them achieve economic progress.
Despite limited resources, the institution has continuously worked towards financial inclusivity,
ensuring that even those with minimal income can participate in savings and credit activities.
The steady addition of new members and the retention of a significant portion of existing members
highlight the trust and reliability that this cooperative has established.
Moving forward, the institution aims to further expand its services, strengthen financial stability,
and enhance the overall well-being of its members. By maintaining its core values of transparency,
mutual cooperation, and ethical governance, it continues to play a crucial role in fostering
socio-economic development within the community.
This institution, which was initiated with a share capital of NPR 600,000 and 36 founding share members,
has now completed 15 years since its establishment. Founded in 2009 (2066 B.S.), this cooperative
successfully conducted its 15th General Assembly in December 2024 (Poush 2081 B.S.). As of now, the
total number of share members stands at 167, comprising 85 women and 82 men.
In the previous fiscal year (Asadh end), there were 165 members (81 men and 84 women).
Since then, three members have left, while five new members have joined, bringing the
current total to 167 (82 men and 85 women). Looking at these figures, it would not be an
exaggeration to say that our institution is women-friendly—the statistics confirm it.
While the institution has not made significant progress in terms of financial growth or capital
adequacy, we have also not faced any decline. Since its inception, new share members
have continuously joined, while some older members have left. This trend continued this year as well.

Chairman's Words
Respected Members, Well-Wishers, and Esteemed Guests,
It is with great honor and pride that I stand before you today to address this gathering
on behalf of our organization. Looking back at our journey, I feel immense gratitude for the unwavering
dedication and collective efforts of our members, which have brought us to where we are today.
Fifteen years ago, with a share capital of NPR 600,000 and the support of 36 founding members,
we embarked on this mission under the umbrella of 'Environment and Socio-Economic Upliftment-Nepal (SESUN).'
Our primary goal has always been to empower our members by consolidating small savings and mobilizing loan programs
to enhance their financial stability and overall well-being. Despite numerous challenges, we have upheld the principles
of ethical governance, transparency, and integrity in all our operations.
As we successfully conducted our 15th General Assembly in Poush 2081, our total share membership
has grown to 167, comprising 85 women and 82 men. Notably, our institution has maintained a women-friendly
environment, as reflected in our increasing female participation. We firmly believe that inclusive financial
access is key to socio-economic progress, and we take pride in fostering opportunities for all our members.
While our financial progress may not have been exponential, we have successfully maintained stability and prevented
any decline. New members continue to join us, while some older members move on, reflecting the natural cycle of growth
and transition in any cooperative system. This demonstrates the trust and credibility we have built over the years.
Our commitment to operating within the regulatory framework, coupled with our ethical responsibility towards our members,
remains our guiding principle. We have continually strived to create a sustainable and resilient financial platform where individuals
from all walks of life, particularly those with limited income, can access financial resources and secure a better future.
As we move forward, our focus will be on strengthening our capital base, expanding financial services, and enhancing support
mechanisms for our members. By working together, sharing responsibilities, and upholding the values of cooperation and trust,
we can pave the way for a brighter and more prosperous future.
On behalf of the institution, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all our members, board representatives,
and well-wishers who have contributed to this journey. Your faith and dedication inspire us to continue striving
for excellence. Let us keep moving forward with the same spirit of unity and progress.
Our commitment to transparency and excellence drives us to deliver the best services.
Thank you!
